Rockstar has released a series of screenshots corresponding to the Nintendo Switch version from GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. These arrive in time for the game’s launch, scheduled for later this week.
Screenshots, which can be found in the Switch section of the official remasters website, show a large variety of remastered scenes from all three included games in the package.
In these images we can see iconic characters from the GTA saga. While Claude from GTA III can be seen strolling the streets of Chinatown, there is also a shot with Tommy Vercetti and Ken Rosenberg, and another that shows CJ from GTA San Andreas on a motorcycle chase. As you can see below, there are also a number of more scenic views displayed in the collection, including the Hollywood parody of the Vinewood series and Vice City’s Ocean View Hotel.
Yes OK it shouldn’t be too difficult to improve the graphics of the original titles of the saga, given that they were released almost two decades ago, there are some improvements made by Rockstar that are worth noting. From the pictures shown, the trilogy looks like it will suit well Switch, where the design options seem to have bolstered the graphical quality of each game while retaining a retro feel.
Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that certain lighting elements and textures appear to be of lower quality than in other editions of the game on consoles and PC; of course, we’ll be able to get a much better idea of the scale of those differences when the collection arrives.
Remember that GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is launched next Thursday, November 11, 2021, para PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One y PC.
