KIEV, Oct 20 (Reuters) – Ukraine’s Ministry of Agriculture and its main grain traders have agreed to increase the wheat export quota to 25.3 million tonnes for the 2021/2022 season, from 17.5 million in 2020 / 221, due to the expectation of a record harvest this year.
The government issued a statement with the announcement late on Tuesday.
Favorable weather could help Ukraine harvest around 80.3 million tons of grains in 2021, including 32.3 million tons of wheat.
