Atrys Health, a leader in telemedicine and next-generation radiation oncology therapy, has achieved a collaboration agreement with Lusíadas Saúde, one of the main healthcare groups in Portugal, to develop state-of-the-art radiotherapy treatments at its CLISA hospital in Lisbon.
With this agreement, Atrys begins its activity in the Portuguese capital and continues its consolidation in Portugal, where it already has a strong presence in the field of cancer treatment, diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine and genetics.
The operation strengthens Atrys in the field of radiation oncology therapy in Europe and responds to its strategy of creating a reference network of high-precision radiation oncology centers. With the new agreement, Atrys will bring to 11 the number of linear accelerators in its network of advanced cancer centers in Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.

In Lisbon, Atrys will install a TrueBeam linear accelerator from Varian Medical Systems, technology that allows reducing the 30-35 sessions, in 7 weeks, of conventional radiotherapy treatment to between 1 and 5 sessions of high precision radiotherapy, administered in a single week.
